Adopt-a-Highway

Maybe you've seen the roadside signs with the association name and orange trash bags blossoming along N.C. 12. In the spring and in the fall, association board member Joanne Mason organizes our N.C. 12 clean-up effort. Thanks to volunteers our Main Street is litter-free for a time. The association is also a partner with the state's community service program. At different times of the year, association members direct community service workers at village clean-up efforts.
