Halloween Parade

The civic association sponsors the only Halloween Parade held on Hatteras Island. Costumed youngsters parade down N.C. 12 which is closed briefly and congregate at the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Community Building for fun, games and lots of candy.  In 2011, the Parade will be held Saturday, October 290.

Civic association board members place pumpkin signs at homes and businesses that welcome Trick or Treat visitors on October 31. For a pumpkin sign, e-mail administrator@rwscivic.org.
